Reassembly front output flange

Press bearing on output flange.

Install bearing to flange retainer ring.

Position bearing retainer ring on output flange.
Refer to the cleaning and inspection pages.

Apply a very light coat of permatex #2 to the outer
diameter of the output flange oil seal, press oil seal in
oil seal sleeve. Oil seal must be flush with one side of
face of oil seal sleeve, and lip of seal must be in.

Install new “O”-ring on oil seal sleeve.
Position oil seal sleeve assembly on output flange.
NOTE: recessed position of oil seal and sleeve must be up,
with lip of seal up. This leaves a space between oil seal and
output bearing.
