E.5 Axle beam group assembly
Some of the following pictures could not show exactly
your axle, but the procedure is the same.
E.5 Montaggio gruppo trave
Alcune figure che seguono potrebbero non mostrare
esattamente il vostro assale, ma la procedura rimane la
stessa.

Montare la boccola del perno snodo superiore nel trave con
battitoio cod. CA715039 e martello.
Infilare la pista esterna della rotula sferica sulla parte
inferiore del trave con il battitoio cod. CA715039 e un
martello.
Nota: Per facilitare il montaggio, è necessario raffreddare la
pista esterna della rotula sferica a temperature inferiori a -
100°C.
Attenzione: usare dei guanti di protezione.
Assemble the upper king pin bush on the axle beam with the
special tool code CA715039 and a hammer. Insert the cup
of the ball bearing on the lower part of the axle beam with
the special tool code CA715039 and a hammer
Note: To make the assembly easier, it is necessary to cool
the cup of the ball bearing at a temperature less than 100°C.
Warning: wear safety gloves.

Montare nel trave la bronzina con il battitoio cod. CA715444
ed un martello.
Riempire per 3/4 la camera dell’anello con grasso, applicare
pasta sigillante sulla sua superficie esterna.
Montare l’anello di tenuta nel trave con il battitoio cod
CA119089 ed un martello.
Assemble the bush on the axle beam with the special tool
code CA715444 and a hammer.
Fill 3/4 of the ring cavity with grease and apply sealing
compound on its outer surface.
Assemble the seal ring on the beam with the special tool
code CA119089 and a hammer.

Lubrificare la boccola ed il labbro dell’anello di tenuta.
Inserire il doppio giunto all’interno del trave.
Attenzione: non rovinare la tenuta.
Lubricate the bush and the sealing lips.
Insert the U-Joint inside the axle beam.
Warning: be careful not to damage the seal.
