3. We advise you to undertake a dehumidifying cycle of the pump oil once a week by
pressing the "preserving cycle" button (START MED) for 5 seconds.
Periods of inactivity
If you think you will not be using the device for a long period of time, clean it carefully internally and
externally and protect the external surfaces with specific oil-based products for stainless steel.
Caution! Disconnect the plug until the next time you want to use it.
Caution! Before using it again check the integrity of the device and carefully clean it.
When it is switched back on, undertake an automatic cycle for dehumidifying the pump oil by
pressing the “START MED” button for 5 seconds. The cycle lasts 20 minutes. Afterwards, the
machine goes into stand-by.
Malfunctioning
Caution! If malfunctioning should occur, before calling the Retailer or authorised assistance
centre, check that the power lead is properly inserted and ensure that there is a supply of
electricity.
Furthermore, check the lid seal is properly inserted and that the soldering bar is correctly inserted
on its two screws.
If, after having undertaken these checks, the SV46 continues to malfunction, disconnect the device
and call the Retailer or authorised assistance centre communicating the matriculation number of
the machine.
Caution! Do not try to repair or adjust the device in any of its parts, it could be dangerous
and affect the guarantee; only authorised and qualified technicians should be entrusted to
do so.
