4. Moduli di Zona
A. Uscita di Zona
Each zone features a balanced audio output connector (+ -0 V).
Connect this output to the input of the corresponding zone amplifier.

B. GAIN
The zone gain control adjusts the output level of the corresponding
zone. It acts on all the audio signal inputs, including audio coming from
the BM8X8 paging console, MIC1, emergency sirens and the signal on
the EMC IN input.
This control is particularly useful during setup to set a maximum limit to
the level controls that can be accessed by the user on the front panel
and on the remote controls

C. Tone adjustments on the zone output
Each zone features an independent High and Low Level Control.
- LF adjusts the low frequency range
- HF adjusts the high frequency range
D. PAGE
Each zone features an independent paging signal level control that adjusts the level of the
announcement coming from the BM8X8 console independently.
E. ZONE REMOTE CONTROL Input
Each of the eight zones can be connected to a control panel from which the audio source can be
remotely selected, the volume adjusted and a local audio source/microphone inserted. (For further
information on the remote control functions, please refer to the R88, R88L and LOC02 manuals).
The RJ45 port is used to connect the remote panel to MATRIX88 and to power the remote control if
the cable length required between the two does not exceed 50 m (otherwise you need additional 24
V DC power supply).
Connect the ZONE REMOTE CONTROL INPUT to the remote control RJ45 communication port
using a UTP CAT5 cable.
Note:
Each remote control operates within the audio zone to which it is connected, e.g. if it is
connected to ZONE REMOTE CONTROL 4 it will operate only within zone 4
