6.6.2 Notes on p rotocol

Elbex protocol was designed to control a range of domes, whose features are dissimilar. It is possible that each
command here described is used either in the whole dome range or is peculiar of a single model.
Please read the dome manual to get the whole list of available functions.
Access level is fixed to 3 (complete control).
To control a series EXC7000 dome, the correct keyboard configuration is required. Follow the instructions in the
section § 6.6.15 - Series EXC7000 domes control, page 75.

6.6.3.2 Dome settin gs

Dome ID-number must be set according to the respective installation manual. It is not possible to change
remotely the ID-number.

6.6.3.3 Keyboard se ttings

6.6.4 Dome setup

The dome can be set up by pressing a combination of keys or by inserting a special code.
For all setup operations the keyboard must be enabled to perform the receiver setup (menu

6.6.5 Note on do me control

The protocol used by Elbex domes is particularly time-demanding and it is not possible to control more than one
dome on a communication line at a given time. The ideal configuration has a single control keyboard and a
number of domes on each communication line.
