INTRODUCTION

RTG 100 is a GPRS terminal created for the control and management of solar inverters and UPS. It is set up to
transfer data relative to the device controlled on the GSM network, using the GPRS service. RTG 100 can take the
user’s choice of telephone SIM cards. Through this, GPRS traffic is routed towards a server unit (see the
MONITORING SYSTEM paragraph). It is connected to the device (Solar inverter or UPS) by a serial lead (supplied).
It receives data from the connected device and, if requested, sends this data o the GSM network. RTG 100 can
also send SMS messages when specific situations arise involving the device connected (changes in status and/or
alarms).

CONNECTIONS

Supplied with two leads:

 RJ11-RJ45/DB9 (male) lead: this lead is used to connect the GPRS terminal (RTG 100) to the device to be

controller (Solar inverter or UPS).

 RJ45/DB9 (female) lead: this lead is used to connect the GPRS terminal (RTG 100) to a computer. It is

needed to configure the RTG 100.
