2. GENERAL WARNINGS
A blast chiller is a household appliance used for rapidly
lowering temperatures, rapidly freezing foods and rapidly
cooling drinks.
Products which are rapidly cooked and chilled with the blast
chiller, maintain their initial high quality for 5/7 days while
rapidly frozen foods, once they have been defrosted, do not
collapse and maintain their consistency and original flavour.
The appliance must only be for lowering the temperature of
foodstuffs and only for domestic use.
The appliance is only to be used for its designed purpose, that
is, freezing/chilling foods.
Any other use is therefore considered improper and
potentially dangerous.
The blast chiller has been designed NOT to be used
continuously; therefore, for it to function correctly and
efficiently, it is advisable to switch the appliance off after a
maximum of two cycles, and leave the door open for around
30/40 minutes so that any ice which has formed can
evaporate.
After having removed the packaging, ensure that the appliance
is in good working order; if this is not the case, please advise
the retailer.
Packaging materials (sheets, polystyrene) may be hazardous
to children (danger of suffocation). Keep packaging materials
out of the reach of children.
Before starting to position and install the appliance, check that
the power and voltage data for the electricity supply stated on
the matriculation plate correspond to those at the installation
site.
If a malfunction should occur, switch off the appliance and
interrupt all the connections.
Keep children within sight, in order to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
