6.4 -18°C NON-STANDARD FOODS DEEP-FREEZING CYCLE

WITH CORE PROBE

Attention: before beginning this cycle, the food must

have a temperature of +3°C; therefore, if necessary,

chill the food using the “+3°C blast chiller cycle with

core probe”.

The weight of the product must NEVER be more than 1 Kg.

The temperature reading is carried out in the central part of

the product by inserting the core probe; to guarantee that

the probe works correctly in the blast chiller and deep-

freezing cycle, insert it as in the figure

“inserting the

probe”. Check that the blast chiller is empty and that the door

is closed; press the reference buttons at the same time

(BUTTONS 1 and 2). The display will show icons no. 7, no. 8

and no. 9 which indicate that the chosen cycle has started

correctly; after a few minutes, a buzzer will signal the best

time to put the product to be deep-frozen into the appliance;

insert the product within 5 minutes (otherwise the appliance

will be switched off and it will be necessary to start the

procedure again from the beginning), insert the probe ensuring

that the tip is at the centre of the product and close the door.

On the display, icons no. 10 no. 11 and no. 12, which show the

time progression, will progressively switch off, flashing in

order. At the end of the cycle, icons no. 10, no. 11 and no. 12

will flash together with a buzzer which will sound for around 20

seconds; to end the cycle open the door.

 

6.5   + 3°C BLAST CHILLER TIME CYCLE

The weight of the product must NEVER be more than 1 Kg.

Insert the hot product into the blast chiller, close the door, set

the blast chiller class as in the “Blast chiller example times”

table pressing the reference button several times (button 3)

until the desired food class has been chosen. Icon no. 10

indicates class 1 foods; icon no. 11 indicates class 2 foods;

icon no. 12 indicates class 3 foods; icons no. 10 and no. 11

together indicate class 4 foods; icons no. 11 and no. 12

together indicate class 5 foods; icons no. 10 and no. 12

together indicate class 6 foods.
