The term "Single Action" means that the hammer of your revolver with
transfer bar must be manually drawn fully rearward, or “cocked”, befo-
re firing each shot. In the process of cocking your revolver, you should
note that there are two separate hammer positions, each one having
its own purpose.

LOADING/UNLOADING POSITION (HALF COCK)
By pulling back the hammer of your transfer bar revolver, you will feel
the hammer “click” into its first notch position (if you listen carefully,
you can hear a click). In this position the cylinder of your revolver
freely rotates clockwise. This allows you to load and unload your
revolver by opening the gate that is located on the right rear side of
the frame. (see position # 1)

FIRING POSITION
By pulling completely back the hammer you get to the firing full cock
position . Make sure that the hammer is locked in this position !! Your
revolver is now ready to fire. (see position # 2)
