cooling of the electronic cir

cient space (at least 10 cm) all around the television. Do not position

the television in alcoves where air cir

culation is restricted.

• Do not position the television near sources of heat like heaters

and radiators. Likewise do not position it near thermostats.

(e.g. a few weeks), remove the batteries fr

the rear (

Fig. 3).

• When the remote contr

ol batteries run low, r

eplace both batteries

at the same time, not just one at a time.

• Replace the batteries if the functioning of the remote contr

ol beco-

mes less effective, i.e. if the range or the angle of operation beco-

mes restricted.

2.4

PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

• The packaging material that comes with your television conforms

to the latest standards for envir

onmental protection. If you have

enough spare r

oom, keep your television’s packaging at least for the

period of the warranty.

• If the remote contr

ol batteries are not “gr

een” (i.e. ecological) bat-

teries, when they run out, dispose of them in the proper way using

proper battery r

ecycling points. Never throw spent batteries into the

environment. Whenever possible, use mer
