La presenza di 8 preset gestiti da DSP permette di
modificare la risposta del diffusore in maniera molto più
accurata rispetto ai controlli di tono; inoltre i preset sono già
studiati ed ottimizzati in camera anecoica per dare al
diffusore esattamente il carattere voluto. La scelta del
preset avviene tramite il commutatore “PRESET”. Instead of rotary EQ controls, FBT’s new Digital Signal

simple and efficient EQ adjustment. Hundreds of hours of
testing in the anechoic chamber in our factory went into the
development of these presets to optimize the ProMaxX
speakers for use for numerous applications. Selection is
made through the “PRESET” switch.

corrisponde al tipico sound FBT;
è il preset di default con utilizzo “general
purpose”, adatto quindi alla maggior parte delle
applicazioni.

ravvicinato, fino a 7-8 metri. Consigliato in
piccoli ambienti o con l’audience a distanza
ravvicinata, dove comunque sia richiesto un
SPL medio-alto
per un ascolto del diffusore ad
una distanza maggiore di 15-20 metri; indicato
per quando si ha la necessità di proiettare il
suono a distanze considerevoli.
il diffusore si specializza per uso
come “stage monitor”; la risposta viene
compensata per tener conto della vicinanza
con il pavimento e per l’ascolto in campo vicino.
permette di avere la massima
intelligibilità del parlato anche in ambienti
difficili o con alto “noise floor”; la banda
passante viene modificata per esaltare la
gamma vocale.
tipica curva di risposta per
applicazione musicale o disco, con bassi ed
acuti enfatizzati rispetto alle medie frequenze
che rimangono leggermente arretrate; è un
preset molto piacevole da ascoltare a basso
volume ma adatto anche per utilizzo del
diffusore in discoteche o pub.
fornisce un carattere corposo sul
medio-basso e meno aggressivo sulla parte
acuta; adatto alla riproduzione di musica in
ambienti molto assorbenti o nelle situazioni
dove è richiesto un suono molto energico alle
basse frequenze e dolce alle medio-alte.
è caratterizzato dalla tipica
risposta dei diffusori di fascia “top” concepiti
esclusivamente per il touring; quindi grande
linearità di risposta e banda passante non
eccessivamente estesa agli estremi. Chi è
abituato a lavorare con sistemi audio altamente
professionali troverà con questo preset il sound
che cerca.

sound; it is the default general purpose preset
and is thus fit for the majority of applications
suitable for a very close
listening, up to 7-8 meters. Recommended for
small rooms or with a very close audience
where a medium-high SPL is anyway required
for listening to the speaker at a
distance over 15-20meters; Suitable when the
sound has to be projected over long distances
The speaker has specialized and
works as stage monitor. The answer is
balanced to take into account the proximity to
the floor and the listening of sounds in a
nearfield.
Allows obtaining top intelligibility of
spoken language even in difficult environments
or with high noise floor. The passband is
modified to emphasize vocal range.
Typical answer curve for music
application or record, with bass and treble
emphasized with respect to the middle
frequencies that, instead, remain slightly in the
background. This preset is very satisfying if
listened to at low volume but is also suitable for
using the speaker in discos and pubs.
Gives a dense sound quality on
middle-low frequencies and a less aggressive
quality on trebles. Suitable for broadcasting
music in very sound-absorbing environments or
in situations that require a very strong sound at
low frequencies and a sweet sound at middle-
high frequencies.
It is characterized by the
typical answer of top class speakers that are
exclusively designed for touring applications;
therefore, very linear answer and passband
without too much extension on the extremes.
Those who are used to working with highly
professional audio systems will find what they
look for in this preset.

corrisponde al tipico sound FBT. È il preset di
default con utilizzo “general purpose”, adatto quindi alla
maggio parte delle applicazioni.
il suono del sub diventa più asciutto, meno
estensione in bassa frequenza ma più energia concentrata
in gamma 80-120Hz. Adatto al rock e ad applicazioni ad
alto SPL.
I due preset dispongono di 4 frequenze di taglio diverse
(80, 100, 120, 140Hz); questo permette di configurare il sub
anche con qualsiasi altro diffusore.

the sound of the sub becomes drier, reduced low
frequency extension but more energy concentrated in the
80-120Hz range. Suitable for rock music and high SPL
applications.
Two presets feature 4 different cut-off frequencies (80, 100,
120, 140Hz) enabling sub configuration with any other
speaker.
