INSTALLATION - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Installation must conform to the standard directives.
Candy declines all responsability for any damage that may be caused by unsuitable or
unreasonable use.
Connection to the power supply should be through a plug with an earth terminal, or through
an omnipolar switch, contact or cut-out, with a gap between the contacts of at least 3 mm.
The electrical installation should be protected by a fuse, properly earthed, and including wires
of a sufficient section to supply the product correctly.
This appliance is supplied with a cord and plug which is only suitable for connection to a
power supply of 220-240 V between the 2 phases or one phase and neutral.
Connect the cooker on a plug with 16 A. Before connecting, it is compulsory to
check the line voltage indicated on the electrical meter, circuit breaker rating, and the cali-
bre of the fuse 16 A.
Warning : always check the continuity of the connection to the installation before
any electrical operation. Candy cannot be held responsible for any accidents which
has resulted from the use of an appliance which is not connected to earth, or with
a faulty earth connection.
Any queries regarding the power supply cable should be referred to an After Sales Service
Engineer or qualified technician.
