INSTALLATION - GAS CONNECTION

REGULATION OF THE MINIMUM FLOW :

To complete the by-pass for the regulation of the minimum flow (for the hob and the

oven) remove only the control knobs of the cooker with a metal control panel.

1. Once the by-pass screw is reached, proceed with the regulation on the hob burners as

follows :

a) natural gas (methane) :

- Turn the by-pass screw to the maximum, then unscrew it two turns.

- Set the knob on the "minimum" position (it stops turning) and tighten the by-pass screw

until you obtain a small flame, which must remain the same when you turn the knob back

from the maximum to the minimum position.

b) butane or propane gas : Regulate by turning the by-pass screw to the stop position.

2. To regulate the by-pass of the oven, regulate the screw placed in front of the thermostat

as follows :

a) Butane or propane gas :

- tighten the screw to the maximum without blocking it.

b) Natural gas

to check whether the by-pass regulation is correct, proceed as follows :

- light the oven placing the control knob on position maximum. You should obtain a

small flame (2 mm) which must remain the same when you turn the control knob from

position maximum to minimum. If the flame goes off, the by-pass flow is not sufficient. You

must unscrew the thermostat by-pass screw a little.

CAREFUL : If the by-pass flow is too high, it neutralizes the thermostat action.
