1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock do not remove cover (or back panel). There are no user serviceable parts inside the unit;

refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture.


This symbol is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the product’s enclosure, that may

be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.

All safety and operating instructions should be read before the product is operated.

Retain Instructions:
All safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
This user manual should be considered as a part of the product and it must be passed on to any new owner. Thus the new owner will be able to
read all the installation, operating and safety instructions before operating the product.

All warnings on the product and in the user manual should be adhered to.

DETAILED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:


Water and moisture:

This unit should not be used near water (i.e. near a bathtub, kitchen sink, swimming pool, etc.).

Ventilation:

The unit should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, it should not be placed
on a bed, sofa or similar surfaces that could cover the ventilation openings, or placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or a cabinet
that could block air flow trough the ventilation openings.

Heat:

This unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances that produce heat.

Power Sources:

The unit should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the product.

If the supplied AC power cable plug is different from the wall socket, please contact an electrician to replace the power plug.

Grounding or Polarization:

Precautions should be taken so that grounding and polarization are not defeated.

Unit metal parts are grounded through the AC power cord.

If the AC power outlet doesn’t have grounding, consult an electrician for outlet grounding.

Power Cord Protection:

The power cord should be routed so that it is not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against it, paying particular
attention to the cord in correspondence of plugs, convenience receptacles and wall outlets.

Cleaning:

To clean the unit, remove surface dust using a slightly damp cloth or compressed air.

Do not use solvents such as trichloroethylene, paint thinners, alcohol, or other highly volatile and flammable fluids.


Non-use Periods:

The unit AC power cord should be unplugged from the outlet when left unused for a long period of time.

Object and Liquid Entry :

Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.

Safe Use of Power Supply Line:

Hold firmly the plug and the wall outlet while disconnecting the unit from AC power.
