CLEANING OF THE WATER ENTRY FILTER

You should also clean filter B periodically. It is located

between the water tap and the water entry tube.

• Close water tap A.

• Unscrew attachment piece C, take out filter B, and clean

it thoroughly under running water.

• Put the filter back in its place and screw the water entry

hose on. Check that there are no water leaks.

9.5

CLEANING THE EXTERNAL DISHWASHER SURFACES

The external dishwasher surfaces (metal and plastic) must be cleaned regularly with a damp, soft cloth.

Never use acidic substances or abrasive detergents.

If you don’t use the appliance for long periods of time

In the event the dishwasher will not be used for a long period, proceed as follows:

• run the pre-wash programme twice

• remove the electric plug from the outlet

• disconnect the water supply tube

• leave the door slightly open to avoid the formation of bad odours.

9.3

CLEANING THE DRAINAGE PUMP

The pump may be accessed from inside the

dishwasher.

1. Always disconnect the plug from the mains

socket before cleaning the pump.

2. Unscrew the external filter 1 by turning it in an

anticlockwise direction (fig. 18).

3. Remove the stainless steel filter 3 (Fig. 20).

4. Remove the external microfilter 4 (Fig. 21)

5. Finally, remove the small insert Z from the left

part of the drainage hole in the base of the

appliance.

6. By placing your finger inside the hole, it is pos-

sible to rotate the pump propeller and eliminate

any blockages which may have occurred.

7. Replace the insert and the filters.

8. Plug the appliance back into the mains so-

cket.
