4. TALK Indicator

When the TALK button is pushed in the blue LED lights, when the button is not pushed in, the LED remains
off

5. Microphone activation button

After selecting the zone, the announcement can be made by holding down the TALK button. When you push
the TALK button any currently selected music program will be muted, the remote control display will show “Er”
and on MATRIX88 the corresponding PAGE BUSY LED will be lit.
If you select no zone and push the TALK button, the indicator will flash and turn itself off. No paging will be
made

6. General call button

Push the ALL CALL button to select all the zones and push it again to deselect them all.
If one or more zones are already in use with another call from a different console (zone LED on red), the
indicator will remain off and no call will be made

7. ALL CALL Indicator

This blue LED is on when the ALL CALL button is pushed in and it will turn itself off when the ALL CALL
button is disengaged

8. Custom Zone Label

Labels identifying sound sources can be printed out directly by the user

9. Zone Indicators

Two-color LED: it identifies the zone status:

RED: the zone is busy with another paging message from a different console.
BLUE: the zone is selected.

10. Zone Selection Button

Push the zone button to select the area where you want your paging message to be heard: the LED will turn
green. If you push the button again you deselect the zone and the indicator will turn off. When on red, the
indicator signals that the area is already busy: Nonetheless, if you try selecting it anyway, the indicator will
start flashing to indicate selection is not possible
