General Call
Press the ALL CALL button and then the TALK button, and make your announcement talking in the
microphone. Release the TALK button to end call.
Zone Call
Press the zone buttons to select the areas where you want the announcement to be heard. The
corresponding LED will light up to confirm activation; to deselect a zone press the corresponding button,
and the LED will turn off too.
Press the TALK button and make your call through the microphone. To end call release the TALK button.
Note:
• If an alarm message is being played or if any zone is already busy when the ALL CALL or a zone
button is selected, no announcement can be made on any zone, either busy or free
• If a zone or several zones are playing an alarm message, no calls can be made on those zones,
but it will be possible to make calls on the free channels
7. EXBM08X8 Expansion units connection
If more speaker zones are needed, the system can accommodate up to 3 EXBM8X modules through a daisy-
chain connection, with which the system will be expanded to 16, 24 or 32 paging zones.
Connection between paging console and additional keyboard:
One or two additional keyboards can be added to the paging console through the provided 10P IDE cable
