q POWER ON /STANDBY button

This button is used to power on or power standby.

w STANDBY indicator

This indicator illuminates red when the unit’s status is
standby.
When daily timer is activated, this indicator lights green.

e ANTENNA A/B button

This button is used selection of the FM antenna A or B.

r IF BAND button

This button is used for selecting the bandwidth of the FM
broadcast.

t TIME ADJ (adjust) button

This button is used for adjusting the current time.

y ST.NAME/DISPLAY button

This button is used for displaying the signal strength.

Press this button slightly longer (for more than 1.5
second) to file in manually stations name in the preset
memory.

u TUNING MODE button

This button is used for selecting the manual tuning or the
fine tuning mode. Fine tuning mode is available only in
the FM band.

i TUNING

5∞ (UP/DOWN) button

This button used for tuning in the desired broadcasting
stations or adjusting the time, or manual tuning, etc.

o CANCEL button

This button is used for canceling the program during
manual file or adjusting the on/off time of the timer.

!0 NEXT button

This button is used for advancing to the next step during
time adjustment or manual filing, etc.

!1 MEMO button

This button is used for presetting the broadcasting
stations.

!2 (Timer) ON/OFF button

This button used for engaging the daily timer function.

!3 TIMER SET button

This button is used for presetting the time when the
system is turned on and off every day at a specified
time.

!4 PRESET

5∞ (UP/DOWN) button

This button used for preset in the desired broadcasting
stations.

!5 FM MODE button

This unit automatically switches into the STEREO mode
when a FM stereo broadcast is received press this
button to change the monaural mode, then the
“STEREO” indicator will go out on the display.

!6 RDS button

When the FM RDS broadcasting is displayed, and it
retrieves, this button is operated. (See page 9)

!7 BAND button

This button is used for selecting the FM, MW or LW
broadcast.

!8 DISPLAY/INDICATOR

!9 Antenna A or B indicator

@0 FM WIDE or NARROW band indicator
