6. INSTALLATION AND POWER SUPPLY FEATURES
Warning
• Do not set the unit in ambient subject to vibration, humidity or dust.
• Contact authorized installer to avoid to damage the unit while installation steps.
• The microphone stand is anti sliding stem supports equipped for desk use purposes.
Alternatively the stands can be half desk flush mounted .
On rear microphone call station 2 RJ45 (IN/OUT) are available for the direct ZONE8 connections
throughout CAT5 UTP cable. On ZONE8 unit are present n° 6 buses for RJ45 input. On each of
these inputs only a maximum of 3 microphone stands can be cascade (Daisy-Chain connection
system) for a maximum total of 18 microphone call stations.
NB – ZONE8 has been designed to ensure a direct microphone call station power supply. But for
long flow (over 200/250 meters) the power supply levels falling makes necessary and inevitable to
apply to a local source for call microphone stations power supply purposes and schedule to use
The optional (to be purchased separately) BMPWS (230Vac/12Vac 50/60Hz – 500mA). Such
system status is highlighted when led indicator lights (fig.2-ref.11).
Details for microphone call station connections with UTP CAT5 cable and RJ45 connector
accordingly to standards
