4. INSTALLATION

• To mount the antennas on the front, insert the two TNC connectors through the mounting holes of the front panel

and fix them tightly.

• Connect the antenna A and B inputs of the receivers to the A and B outputs of the splitter (fig.4).

• If wireless microphones are used in free-field conditions and at long distances, you should use the antenna

boosters

(fig.3) supplied. In this case, the two preamplifiers should be installed near the receiving antennas; they

will be powered directly by the splitter through the cable. (fig. 5).
To ensure optimum performance of the unit, keep it away from humidity or water. This antenna booster kit
provides enhanced S/N ratio for better reception and longer distance transmission.

• After connecting the antennas, connect the AC/DC adapter to the UHF Splitter and to the mains outlet.

• Switch the unit ON, the Power LED will light up and the unit is ready for use.

Note: For short distances (10/15 mt.) a 50Ω RG58-type coaxial cable can be used, while RG213U or higher
feature cables are recommended for longer distances.

To make the necessary connections, use TNC Male connectors to suit the coaxial cable used.
