All freezers are mounted on castors for ease of movement. Upright freezers and chest freezers
have locking front castors to stop the freezer from rolling once it is in place; locking front castors
do not provide leveling adjustment, so the site chosen for the freezer must have a flat, level floor.
Posizionare il congelatore in modo da permetterne lo scollegamento dall'alimentazione tramite la
rimozione del connettore e da garantire l'ingresso dell'aria attraverso l'apposita griglia frontale e
la sua uscita sul retro. Mantenere una distanza di almeno 150 mm (6 pollici) da tutti i lati.
Per un controllo efficiente della temperatura, il congelatore deve essere posizionato in un'area
ombreggiata, al riparo da fonti di calore eccessivo. Per una massima capacità di raffreddamento,
il prodotto deve essere situato in un'area climatizzata.

Mains/Power plugs and Receptacles
New Brunswick Freezers are offered with a variety of mains/power cords to accommodate local
voltage requirements. To determine the mains/power receptacle required in your lab, first identify
the plug we provide from the list below and check the freezer rating plate for mains/power
requirements, then see the table which follows.

All 120 V, 60 Hz freezers use plug B, with the exception of Innova U101 freezers which use
plug A
•
All 208 - 230 V, 60 Hz freezers use plug C
•
All 230 V, 50 Hz freezers are provided with both plugs D and E

Installazione dei ripiani
Model U410, U570, and U700 freezers are fitted with four adjustable shelves. I ripiani possono
essere posizionati a intervalli di 12,7 mm (½ pollici) in qualsiasi punto del congelatore.

DO NOT attempt to lift any freezer by hand. Preferred lifting for loading and unloading is by
mechanical lifting equipment.

Maintenance, adjustment and repair work should be carried out only by QUALIFIED,
EXPERIENCED personnel who have been AUTHORIZED to undertake such work by
Eppendorf or its authorized agents.
Failure to use authorized service agents will invalidate the warranty.
