Remove spent batteries / rechargeable batteries immedi-

ately from the device. There is an increased danger of
leaks!

Always replace all the batteries / rechargeable batteries

at the same time.

Batteries / rechargeable batteries must not be disposed

of in the normal domestic waste!

Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries /

rechargeable batteries in the proper manner!

CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries away
from children. Do not throw batteries / recharge-

able batteries into a fire.Never short-circuit them or take
them apart.

If the above instructions are not complied with, the batter-

ies may discharge themselves beyond their end voltage.
There is then a danger of leaking.

If the batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked inside

your appliance, you should remove them immediately in
order to prevent damage to the appliance!

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes

if fluid is leaking from the batteries / rechargeable batter-

ies. If you come into contact with corrosive battery fluids,
flush the affected area thoroughly with clean water and
seek medical advice immediately.

Before initial use

The lights are battery or rechargeable battery operated.

Note: Only use alkaline batteries or comparable recharge-
able batteries with 1.2 V .

during insertion! This is shown inside the battery com-
partment. Use only batteries / rechargeable batteries of
the specified type (see “Technical Data”).

Note: Charger and rechargeable batteries are not included.
Only use a charger from a specialist retailer, which is suitable
for charging 4 rechargeable batteries each of 1.2 V. The
charger requires a 3.5 mm terminal. If necessary consult a
specialist in order to avoid damage and danger.

Note: The charging socket

Mounting the lights

Operation

Switch on the lights by pressing the On / Off button

Press once to activate the Power Mode. Press twice to
activate the Eco Mode.

Switch the lights on again by pressing the On / Off

Power mode with 30 lux: Press the On / Off button

Note: If the LEDs fail then the whole light must be
replaced.

Cleaning

Do not under any circumstances use corrosive or abrasive

cleaning agents. Otherwise damage to the product can
result.

Use a slightly damp, fluff-free cloth for cleaning the product.
Do not immerse the lamp in water!

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials that you can dispose of at your local
recycling facilities.

Contact your local waste disposal authority for more details
on how to dispose of the product when it is no longer needed.

To help protect the environment, please dispose
the product properly, and not in the household
waste, when it has reached the end of its useful
life. Contact your municipal authorities for infor-
mation regarding collection points and their
opening hours.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be
recycled in accordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC.
Return batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the appli-
ance using the recycling facilities provided.

Environmental damage through

incorrect disposal of the batteries /

rechargeable batteries!

Never dispose of batteries / rechargeable batteries in your
household waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and
are subject to hazardous waste regulations. The chemical
symbols of the heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury,
Pb = lead. Therefore, dispose of used batteries / rechargeable
batteries through your local collection site.
