Studiologic Updater Instructions
1. Download the Updater from the site, selecting the folder Mac or Windows.
• note: if you use Windows select the proper file for your system and OS (32 or 64) and you
could use "WinDrv" to install the driver; if you use a Mac, simply open the related file
from the Mac folder and the driver will be installed.
2. Download the latest available version of the Firmware (i.e. Numa Compact) and extract the
files in a folder where you can easily find them (suggestion: same folder of the updater)
3. Open the Updater and connect the instrument to the computer with a standard USB cable;
right after the Update program starts, it will immediately open a new window allowing you
to select the firmware file.dfu that you have downloaded (ref: point 2)
4. Power On the instrument (i.e. Numa Compact) while pressing the "Funct" button: the
instrument’s display will show "UPL" (ready to upload the from your computer); press
"Update" button on the Updater panel and wait for the end of the firmware installation;
after the end of the process, turn the instrument off and on again; the update is done.
Note: please read carefully the update release notes (if available) before updating the instrument
and avoid making updates, if not needed and/or suggested by Studiologic (official site) .

1. Eseguite il download del programma, selezionando le cartelle Windows o Mac
• nota: con Windows selezionate la cartella adatta al vostro sistema (32 o 64) e potete usare
"WinDrv" per installare il driver; con Mac aprite la cartella per installare il drive
automaticamente
2. Scaricate l’ultima versione disponibile di Firmware (es: per Numa Compact) ed estraete i
file in una cartella che potete facilmente ritrovare (es: stessa cartella dell’Updater)
3. Aprite l’Updater e collegate lo strumento al computer con un cavo standard USB; appena il
programma viene lanciato, si aprirà subito un’altra finestra per selezionare il file.dfu per
l’aggiornamento (vedi punto 2)
4. Accendete lo strumento (es: Numa Compact) tenendo premuto il tastino "Funct”; il display
mostrerà la scritta "UPL" (pronto per ricevere l’aggiornamento/upload); selezionate
"Update" sul pannello dell’Updater e attendete la fine dell’aggiornamento; spegnete e
riaccendete lo strumento per completare la procedura e l’aggiornamento sarà operativo.
Nota: leggete attentamente le note di emissione dei Firmware (se disponibili) ed evitate di
fare aggiornamenti se non necessari o suggeriti da Studiologic (sito ufficiale) .
