Il presente foglio di istruzioni deve essere letto unitamente al manuale di istruzioni fornito con
la Golden Fog sulla quale è necessario effettuare la taratura dei termostati. Le operazioni
illustrate nel presente paragrafo devono essere effettuate da un tecnico autorizzato.
Nel corso delle seguenti operazioni di taratura è necessario disporre di un cacciavite da elettricista
a punta piana completamente isolato (
A
), e di una pinza a becchi piani con impugnatura isolata (
B
).
OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI
• Predisporre il termostato di sinistra ( C ) come indicato in figura
• Predisporre il termostato di destra (
D
) come indicato in figura.
• Collegare ai capi della resistenza le sonde di un voltmetro, in modo da rilevare in ogni istante
la presenza o meno di tensione (0-230V).
• Collegare alla Golden Fog l’apposito telecomando (modelli 1000 e 2000) o una centralina di
comando (modello 2000 DMX).
• Collegare la Golden Fog alla rete elettrica, accenderla ed attendere il riscaldamento della caldaia.
GOLDEN FOG 1000 E GOLDEN FOG 2000
1. Quando la caldaia ha raggiunto la temperatura impostata sul termostato di destra (
D
), ossia
il voltmetro segnala 0V ai capi della resistenza, premere il pulsante del telecomando per
abilitare l’emissione di fumo.
2. Se l’emissione di fumo avviene correttamente (senza emissione di gocce di olio non
vaporizzato), interromperla, ruotare in senso orario il termostato di destra (
D
) fino a che la
caldaia sia nuovamente alimentata (230V sul voltmetro) ed aspettare che la caldaia
raggiunga la nuova temperatura impostata (0V sul voltmetro), quindi premere nuovamente il
pulsante sul telecomando per emettere fumo.
3. Ripetere l’operazione di cui al punto precedente fino a quando si ha emissione di gocce di
olio liquido. A quel punto tornare con il termostato alla regolazione precedente dove si era
verificata l’emissione di fumo, quindi premere il pulsante del telecomando per abilitare
l’emissione di fumo e raffreddare in tal modo la caldaia.
4. Riportare la caldaia a regime aspettando che il voltmetro non rilevi tensione ai capi della
resistenza, quindi scollegare la resistenza stessa servendosi di una pinza con impugnatura
isolata e abilitare nuovamente l’emissione di fumo. Aspettare che, a causa del raffreddamento
della caldaia, si abbia emissione di olio. A questo punto ruotare in senso orario il termostato
di sinistra ( C ) fino a provocarne l’intervento che interromperà il funzionamento della pompa.
Ricollegare la resistenza, lasciare che la caldaia si riscaldi fino a riabilitare il funzionamento
della pompa, quindi premere il pulsante del telecomando e verificare che, nonostante il
raffreddamento della caldaia, non ci sia mai emissione di olio liquido. In caso contrario ruotare
leggermente in senso orario il termostato di sinistra ( C ) e ripetere quest’ultima verifica.
5. Effettuare un breve collaudo della macchina verificandone il buon funzionamento e quindi la
corretta taratura dei termostati. Eventualmente sigillare i termostati con una goccia di vernice.
GOLDEN FOG 2000 DMX
1. Quando la caldaia ha raggiunto la temperatura impostata sul termostato di destra ( D ), ossia
il voltmetro segnala 0V ai capi della resistenza, abilitare l’emissione di fumo al 100% tramite
la centralina di comando.
2. Se l’emissione di fumo avviene correttamente (senza emissione di gocce di olio non
vaporizzato), interromperla, spegnere la macchina agendo sull’interruttore (
E
), ruotare
leggermente in senso orario il termostato di destra ( D ), riaccendere la macchina aspettando
che la caldaia raggiunga la nuova temperatura impostata (0V sul voltmetro), quindi abilitare
nuovamente l’emissione di fumo al 100%.
3. Ripetere l’operazione di cui al punto precedente fino a quando si ha emissione di gocce di
olio liquido. A quel punto tornare con il termostato alla regolazione precedente dove si era
verificata l’emissione di fumo.
4. Abilitare l’emissione di fumo al 50% e verificare che per almeno 1 minuto si abbia emissione
di fumo senza gocciolamento. Se vi fosse emissione di olio non vaporizzato, ruotare il
termostato di destra (
D
) leggermente in senso antiorario e verificare che non vi sia
gocciolamento durante l’emissione di fumo ne al 50% ne al 100%.
5. Spegnere e riaccendere la macchina tramite l’interruttore ( E ) ed attendere che la caldaia raggiunga
la temperatura impostata (0V sul voltmetro), abilitare l’emissione di fumo al 100% e, quando la
caldaia ricomincia a scaldare (230V sul voltmetro), scollegare il termostato di destra ( D ) servendosi
di una pinza con impugnatura isolata. Verificare che il termostato di sinistra ( C ) interrompa
l’emissione di fumo dopo circa 20” da quando il termostato di destra ( D ) è stato scollegato. In caso
contrario ruotarlo leggermente in senso orario, ricollegare il termostato di destra ( D ) e ripetere la
medesima prova. Ricordarsi alla fine di ricollegare il termostato di destra ( D ).
6. Effettuare un breve collaudo della macchina verificandone il buon funzionamento e quindi la
corretta taratura dei termostati. Eventualmente sigillare i termostati con una goccia di vernice .
INSTRUCTION SHEET
CALIBRATION OF THERMOSTATS
ENGLISH
This instruction sheet must be read in conjunction with the instruction manual supplied
with the Golden Fog.
The operations illustrated in this sheet must be carried out by an authorised technician.
For the following calibrating operations, you need to have a completely insulated electrician’s
flat-head screwdriver (
A
) and flat nose pliers with an insulated handle (
B
).
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
• Prepare the left-hand thermostat (
C
) as indicated in the diagram
• Prepare the right- hand thermostat (
D
) as indicated in the diagram.
• Connect the probes of a voltmeter to the tips of the resistor, to see at any time if the voltage
(0-230V) is present or not.
• Connect the remote control (models 1000 and 2000) or a control unit (model 2000 DMX) to
the Golden Fog.
• Connect the Golden Fog to the electricity mains, turn it on and wait for the heating block to
heat up.
GOLDEN FOG 1000 AND GOLDEN FOG 2000
1. When the heating block has reached the temperature set on the right-hand thermostat ( D ), i.e.
when the voltmeter indicates 0V on the tips of the resistor, press the remote control button to
initiate smoke emission.
2. If smoke is emitted correctly (without the emission of unvaporised oil drops), stop it and turn
the right-hand thermostat ( D ) clockwise until the heating block is powered again (230V on the
voltmeter). Wait until the heating block reaches the new set temperature (0V on the
voltmeter), then press the button on the remote control again to emit the smoke.
3. Repeat the operation above until drops of liquid oil are emitted. Now turn the thermostat back
to the previous setting where the smoke emission was noted, then press the remote control
button to initiate the smoke emission, in order to cool down the heating block.
4. Bring the heating block back to a steady state and wait until the voltmeter does not show
voltage on the tips of the resistor. Then disconnect the resistor by using pliers with an
insulated handle and initiate smoke emission again. Wait until oil is emitted due to the
cooling down of the heating block. Now turn the left-hand thermostat (
C
) clockwise until
it trips and stops the functioning of the pump. Reconnect the resistor and wait until
the heating block heats up to reactivate the pump. Then press the remote control button
and check that there aren’t any more liquid oil emissions, even if the heating block is
cooling down. On the contrary, turn the left-hand thermostat ( C ) slightly clockwise, and
repeat the test.
5. Carry out a brief test and inspection of the machine, checking that it operates correctly and
that the thermostats are calibrated correctly. If necessary, seal the thermostats with a drop of
varnish.
GOLDEN FOG 2000 DMX
1. When the heating block has reached the temperature set on the right-hand thermostat ( D ),
i.e. when the voltmeter indicates 0V on the tips of the resistor, initiate 100% smoke emission
via the control unit.
2. If smoke is emitted correctly (without the emission of unvaporised oil drops), stop it and turn
off the unit (
E
). Turn the right-hand thermostat (
D
) slightly clockwise, turn the machine back
on and wait until the heating block reaches the new set temperature (0V on the voltmeter).
Then initiate 100% smoke emission again.
3. Repeat the operation above until drops of liquid oil are emitted. Now turn the thermostat back
to the setting where smoke emission was noted.
4. Initiate 50% smoke emission and check that smoke is emitted without any dripping for at
least 1 minute. If there is an unvaporised oil emission, turn the right-hand thermostat ( D )
slightly anticlockwise and check that there isn’t any dripping during the 50% or 100% smoke
emission.
5. Turn off the machine and then turn it back on ( E ). Wait until the heating block reaches the set
temperature (0V on the voltmeter) and initiate 100% smoke emission.When the heating block
begins to heat up again (230V on the voltmeter), disconnect the right-hand thermostat (
D
)
using pliers with an insulated handle. Check that the left-hand thermostat ( C ) stops the smoke
emission about 20 seconds after the right-hand thermostat ( D ) has been disconnected.
If not, turn it slightly clockwise, reconnect the right-hand thermostat ( D ) and repeat the same
test. Remember to reconnect the right-hand thermostat ( D ) at the end.
6. Carry out a brief test and inspection of the machine, checking that it operates correctly and
that the thermostats are calibrated correctly. If necessary, seal the thermostats with a drop of
varnish .
